It’s there sometimes…. It’s gone sometimes… And sometimes it’s totally different.
Newsdesigner.com points out the “slight” differences between the photo shown on the front of El Pais depicting the aftermath of the train bombing in Spain last week, as compared to the “cleaned up” version in The Guardian, ending up with The Telegraph and Times removing the arm in question completely.
Should your photographs be altered like this in order to “protect” you from what you or your kids might see? Personally, I’d crop the image before I’d even think of doing something like this. Then again, I wouldn’t do this. Oh well. Thoughts?
