The Power Of the Pen Keystroke

Wired’s Alan Deutschman profiles the Wall Street Journal’s Walt Mossberg, whose name might have crossed your optic nerves at some point. Mr. Deutschman’s article is entitled “The Kingmaker,” and by all accounts that seems to be a dead-on headline.

This just goes to show that readers do take “advice” of people they trust and read regularly. For stock prices to change dramatically and product usage to grow/shrink based on what this gentleman has to say is a great thing to hear. I think the comparison to make on his impact is to compare it to how many independent editors out here, blogging away, would have to post their opinion on something before it swayed a potential buyer of a product or service. Probably quite a few, in my estimation.
