I can’t say I know of Carmouche’s website, as I’ve gladly avoided many politically-oriented blogs and websites; but I can’t see why Carmouche expected WHYY to deliver an apology here. I understand he doesn’t like the “liberal media”, but this was just an (idiot) voicemail from someone who happened to work at the station and was dumb enough to leave her work telephone number. Perhaps he wants to gloat, but what’s the point? The person resigned (rightfully) and apologized (which she should have). It should be left at that.
Of course, I have less understanding as to why anyone would even leave a voicemail like that…

It’s a shame. WHYY is my NPR station and Buchman was a good reporter.

Yep, I heard a couple of Buchman’s reports on WHYY and they were great. . . . one on Iraq soldiers and one on her neighborhood in Philly. That’s too bad she’s gone. WHYY does a good job as do most NPR stations. Definitely a lot more depth than you find with other news on the radio.

I heard the voicemail. Rachel Buchman sounded like a Nazi. She needs to find another line of work…maybe flipping burgers.
