Over at HD Beat, Matt Burns writes about the promotion being run by New York City-area public radio station WNYC as part of its fund drive. If you make a donation to the station by 7pm tonight (that’s Monday, October 24), and meet the various rules and regulations, you can enter to win a Sony Qualia 006 television (Engadget review here), which currently runs somewhere in the vicinity of $10,000 or so. Or, you could just enter the contest and try and win.
Donate to WNYC and enter to win

Dear Tom, I am trying to recall any NFL records you might have set or have broken or any super bowl rings you might have, but nothing comes to mind. If there are any, please remind me so I can get some sort of understanding as to why ESPN would have you sit in with Berman on NFL Prime Time. You know I do recall an NFL player that grew up here in the bay area, finished his four years at Stanford, got drafted by the Pats, went to the Niners, then moved on and proceeded to win two super bowls with the Raiders and had an MVP. His name is Jim Plunket and should be considered by ESPN to replace you and your bias coverage and improfessional remarks toward NFL players. Show some class.

Hey Salvador,
I think you are on the wrong site. There is no mention of Tom Jackson or ESPN in this posting. Stop blogging on acid.
