The Washington Post’s Patricia Sullivan is reporting this morning that Art Buchwald, a longtime syndicated columnist, died on Wednesday of kidney failure. He was 81.

I miss the early morning cbs news team as well. They were not the usual, boring morning news. They were serious when need be and,joyful and lively when everyone else were deadly. Where are they now. CBS just made them disappear! Why? I thought the Shaun Gables team was great. I woke up one morning and they were gone. Nothing was ever said again. CBS made a big mistake. I watch other channels now. Thanks for nothing CBS!
