The Media Drop

Some of you might be familiar with that popular placeblog from northern New Jersey, Baristanet, that covers all things in Bloomfield, Montclair, Glen Ridge and beyond. Today is a pretty big day for them, as they announced that they have snagged the services of Sue Sadik, who has been known as “Soprano Sue” for some time now, and who used to blog at NJ.com’s Bada Bing Blog along with the efforts she put in on her own site, Soprano Sue’s Sightings. Sue will be blogging regularly on the site all about HBO’s The Sopranos, which hits small screens on April 8.

While it’s not a media coup to the level of what we usually talk about here at TMD, it’s a pretty big deal nonetheless for a popular blog that just so happens to be in the middle of what the Sopranos call “home.”
