In a move that will probably peeve Michael Bay to no end (I mean, let’s “transcend toy roots” of the Transformers already), Black Lab has recorded its own version of the “Transformers” theme song, since they, among others, didn’t care for the Mute Math version that is floating around in snippets and will be released on the film’s album. Thilk spells it out, mentioning how this is “a shining example of fans not being content with someone’s official marketing and doing it themselves.”
If I’m Bay and the production folks, I leave it alone and move on. It does nothing less than generate more buzz about your flick.

I enjoy the redition to the song. I love the rough texture of the singer. I love the way the song and the video clip was put together. This got me more excited than the movie itself.
If this was the preview that was release for the movie, I think it would have made Transformers fans more exited.
