After yesterday’s news that Dow Jones had, in principle, agreed on the takeover bid from News Corp., we knew that the board of the company, plus the Bancroft family, would be next to go. The Journal’s Sarah Ellison, who’s the one to follow inside this whole thing, writes Wednesday that the company’s board has approved the deal, leaving the Bancroft family up for grabs going forward.
