Colophon

colˇoˇphon: The American HeritageŽ Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition describes colophon as either "An inscription placed usually at the end of a book, giving facts about its publication." or "A publisher's emblem or trademark placed usually on the title page of a book."

We'll go with the former for this instance. The Media Drop would like to thank all the people, companies, and (wait...is there anything else to thank?)...well, would like to thank everyone that played a part in the creation of this site and its ongoing development.

Movable Type

Of course, all is owed to the great folks at Movable Type, who created a great tool to use and have taught a lot of folks how to use CSS and HTML by putting out their software.

Morguefile

All stock images come from the wonderful site that Kevin & Michael Connors work to keep up and running and full of useful photographs and textures, morgueFile.

Creative Commons

The Media Drop would also like to thank the people over at Creative Commons for teaching everyone all about Fair Use, trademarks, copyrights, et al. You all do a really fantastic job with educating people while still keeping them entertained, coming strips and all. Special thanks to Matt Haughey, for without sites like MetaFilter, I never really would have gotten into these projects and understanding how the whole blogging and self-publishing world worked.

A special thanks goes out to the folks at Bloglines for making quick and easy the daunting task of reading through all the blogs and online publications of interest. Their tool truly speeds up publishing and grasping of information, and it's great to have a Web-based solution for feed reading.

Well, since I had done this page 'o' props, significant changes have happened here at TMD. Huge thanks go out to Julie from Blog Moxie, who whipped up the fancy red/black skin on the site and employed tweak after tweak to the Movable Type install. And a hat tip to Buzz from over at Buzzstuff for leading the way to the Blog Moxie ladies - I can't say enough about their work.

And while they don't get as much credit in the blogging world as they should, I've also got to thank the folks that do a lot of work to show the rest of us how to get our Movable Type blogs to work better, have new features, or fix buggy things. All the people who have contributed at the MT Plugins Directory, especially. Thanks also to Jay Allen, girlie at thegirliematters, Jennifer at scriptygoddess, and everyone else in the MT Support Forums that help out on a regular basis or that one special time when you catch a question you know something about.

If I've missed you here, don't fret. I truly appreciate all of those who've helped me out with anything I've worked on in the past few years. If you're a reader looking for help or some deeper info on some of these items and people, please feel free to email me with any questions.

Thanks!
