Barista goes yard

Our pal Debbie Galant at Barista of Bloomfield Ave. gets her name in the paper one more time, and this time it's not a byline. The Star-Ledger's Philip Read writes that Barista "is really about as local as local gets." So if you're interested in a great example of hyperlocal blogging (Jeff Jarvis, here they come!), check out Barista for some fun and excitement from all around Bloomfield, Glen Ridge and Montclair, New Jersey.

Yours truly gets to drop a post or two over on Barista, in addition to the gig I have at nj.com. It's always good to broaden your horizons - or, in the case of those blogs, keep them close to home.
